William Meheula, a Hawaii Lawyer at the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens was on my case, which cost me over $105,000 because of breach of Contract by the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens. If you have a choice in the selection of your attorney, do yourself a favor, and DO NOT Choose the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens.

You ask why? It is easy, William Meheula of the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens did not complete what they promised. But the lawyers have the right to assert their lien against anyone's case, even if they did not do their job. It's strange I think-They don't do their job as a Hawaii Personal Injury Lawyer, but they still get paid as a Hawaii Personal Injury Lawyer. Wow! I should go back to school. I would love to have a job which I can promise someone something, like to represent a person in court, charge fees, then change my mind, and not deliver, BUT I still get paid.

This is exactly what William Meheula of the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens did. When you think of every joke about lawyers, insert William Meheula into the Joke and that Joke would be true.

I think the interesting part, is that when I told a partner at the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens, Vlad Devens, that the law firm of Meheula & Devens was in fact in breach of contract, the first thing Mr. Devens said to me was, tell me who your new lawyer is, and we will talk about this issue with him.

So, it seems to be that you have to hire a lawyer to sue another lawyer. I can not figure out if the one that will sue the other lawyer is better or worse? I guess this would only be true if they went around fighting the injustice of bad lawyers like William Meheula & Vlad Devens who steal from their clients, and take fees that they should not have the right to.

I have filed a complaint with the ODC, which is the Office of Disciplinary counsel. Their are multiple complaints filed.

Once again, unless you are looking for a lawyer who will fall short and be in breach of contract I would select a different lawyer then William Meheula & Vlad Devens from the Law firm of Meheula & Devens.

It is like the Who’s Who listing. I guess the best reference is to say it is like a high priced phone book. If you go to the Best lawyer listing you will see it looks just like a phone book ad.

The best firm department starts calling around all the Law firms in an area, like Hawaii, and they put a high fee, and they call all the law firms, if one bites, they become the best. If none of the law firms like Meheula & Devens will pay the high fee, then they drop the fee by 10% and call them all again. This continues until someone bites.

I asked one lawyer, and he said, whoever is listed, is making the most money, has the most money to pay these fees, and that the law firm needs a good looking reference that would fool laymen. So, we can now see why the Law firm of Meheula & Devens, and the lawyers William Meheula & Vlad Devens are listed. They can afford the fees, they need a good reference, and they are profitable. Normally I would look at this as a sign of good business. But when you say this about a law firm, this would mean that they are collecting fees, and not providing services. It's easy to be profitable when you promise services, and collect fees, but do no work and breach on contracts, and not have anyone sue them because they are lawyers.

Conditional Fee Agreement Legal Aid for personal injury cases was largely abolished in England in the late 1990s and replaced with arrangements whereby the client would be charged no fee if her or his case was unsuccessful (known as No win, no fee).

On the other handle, you can also try this case yourself, if I had, I would not have an attorney lien against my settle of $16,666.66 for my attorney Vlad Devens still having a breach of contract by not doing a competent job, but still wanting his fees. By the time you add in every fee he can think of, like coping my files, which came up to .50 per page. Strange thing, I offered to copy these and deliver them, but I was not told that it was part of the service.

I guess this would be like having a dinner at a very nice restaurant and they tell you everything is included, and they offer some Dom pare Juan and when the bill gets there, you see that it is listed at $299.00, you would ask, and they say, did you not read the fine print?

I have an eBook, which has the example of my damage package which is the document you send to the insurance company, and they make you an offer.

What can you charge?

Pain, suffering and loss of amenity Aside from compensation for injuries, the injured person can also get compensated for how the injuries have affected his or her life. An example, a keen cricketer suffers a wrist injury which prevents him from playing cricket during the cricket season. This can be compensated for, over and above the award for the injury itself. This is called loss of amenity, and the award for loss of amenity is part of the claim for pain, suffering and loss of amenity.

In the same manner the injured person can also be compensated if, as a result of the injuries, there has been an inability to doing work which was previously really enjoyed. This is called loss of congenial employment.

No win no fee is the term used to describe the Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) between a law firm and their client. In a Personal Injury claim, this is an agreement between the client and their lawyer, which will enable the lawyer to take on a personal injury case on the understanding that if they lose the case, the client will not have to pay their lawyer’s costs.

However, if the lawyer wins the case they will be entitled to their standard fee plus an uplift referred to as a success fee. In English law, the success fee cannot be greater than 100% of the lawyer’s standard fee.

What did I get for $16,666.66 nothing that I could not have done myself, and I get less, because I could have completed this, 6 months before, cheaper, and better.

Why you should NOT use the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens. Vlad Devens and William Meheula are lawyers at the Law Firm of Meheula & Devens, and they are the 2 attorneys which are directly reasonable for me getting around 20% of what they said I should expect. And yet, they still want their entire fee of $18,000+.

I know that if I told one of my clients that they should expect to receive $250,000.00 from my services, and they I failed them by 80%, I would not expect to be paid the same would you?

Yet as soon as I discharged them from my case for gross professional negligence and Breach of Contract, they asserted their lawyer fees.

I think that the entire legal professional should be looked at because of this. Attorneys are thought of like untouchable gods in the courts, and people are afraid of them. How many people do you think Vlad Devens and William Meheula have screwed; but were to afraid to come forward?

They sit behind the idea, that you would have to hire another lawyer to sue the first. Wow talk about throwing good money after bad.

I have no opened a case with the ODC which is the part of the court system which watched lawyers. These are suppose to be the good guys who are watching the ones that take advantage of clients.

I will keep you up to date on the investigation with the ODC and what the outcome is. Once I have a judgment in the ODC, I will then be able to take the law firm of Meheula and Devens to civil court for my breach of contract and have a better case.

I thought it interesting that Vlad Devens try steering me to the ODC, instead of Civil court, I am not really sure if this is out of his lack of legal knowledge or once again trying to screw a client.

He of course told me that if I put him in contact with my new law firm, they will discuss this matter. Once again trying to play the idea that a) I need legal representation to go to civil court for breach of contract, and b) wants me to think that I have to have a lawyer to understand that he failed his duties as a lawyer.

Why should you NOT use the law firm of Meheula and Devens?
I, George Brown, had a motorcycle accident around 14 months ago, and the law firm of Meheula & Devens was my worst selection. Little did I know what I know now.
The Law Firm of Meheula & Devens mishandled my settlement and then decided that Vlad Devens has asserted his lien against my settlement.

He had decided that although he is in clear breach of contract, he should still get over $18,000 for do little work which was not completed. But still let me tell you about how Vlad Devens and the partners of the law firm Meheula and Devens mishandled my settlement.

The first would be, their attorney fee agreement, which stated that they would handle ALL of the claims for compensation from my motorcycle accident.

But here is how they decided that they could be deceptive, in the first paragraph they use the phrase, to do whatever they deem necessary or desirable. Funny but what they have decided to do is put in a phrase which means they may do whatever they want. As stated or desire, so if they want they can decide to do whatever they want.

So after a couple of months, I had ready a claim against GEICO for over $95,000 and they wrote up a statement, which one day they sent me, certified mail, which notified me, we have decided not to pursue this matter.

Oh they did mention, that my case has merit, and that they suggest I find other lawyers for this part of the settlement.

BUT the law firm of Meheula and Devens would still like the other part of the settlement. So at this point I am ready to discharge the law firm of Meheula and Devens, but Vlad Devens calls me and tells me that they will go after the other insurance company for a lot of money.

He convinced me that they the law firm of Meheula and Devens would be my best choice to get the maximum amount, telling me that having a powerful law firm like the law firm of Meheula and Devens would get more then anyone else. I believed him and continued with his advice.

On Aug 20th I had finished all of my medical issues, and I asked the law firm of Meheula and Devens, mainly Vlad Devens, could we please move forward with this claim. Vlad Devens then told me that he would expedite the claim.

I think this must be Lawyer speak for it will take 6 more months to make a document called the Damage package.

The Law firm of Meheula & Devens also misspelled my Doctors name, which I had already given them, sent request for medical records to hospitals that I had never been at, and waited on 2 doctor's reports, that they already had, but was so unorganized that they did not even know it until I explained it.

But for all of this, the reason it took so long, 6 months for the Law Firm of Meheula and Devens to complete this Damage Package? So they can claim they invest a great amount of time to the case. So when the insurance company they offers a settlement which is only 20% of the damages, Vlad Devens tells me of why I should take this. What he did not want me to know, was that this really meant that they would have to wait longer, be able to take even more of my settlement and bleed every dollar they can out of the settlement.

George Brown, SEO Expert talks about reputation management, in these days, it sounds great to say, I live in America and I have the freedom of speech.

I created a negative persona against myself to see how hard it would be to get to the top of Google and how much it would take. One website, $25.00 and I was at the top of Google.

But the truth of the matter is there are less the honest people out there who if they feel for any reason that they did not have gotten the upper hand in a situation then they have a new outlet, slandering a person or company on the internet.

I have clients who have come to me, and told me terrible stories of reputation slander. Let me give you an example: I have a client who is in Florida, and runs a very successful business, let me give you a hint, most successful business men have at least a few people who would say a couple of bad things against you.

So this successful business man buys companies and improves them, how really knows how to run a company to it's fullest potential. If he is buying your company, you are most likely NOT running your company at it's potential otherwise you would not want to sell it - right? So if this was your company and he is going to buy it, then often he will buy it at a discount correct? So some of the past people he has bought companies from decide after the deal is complete feel like they have been taken advantage of. Not true, but that is how they feel.

So they decide, let's use the internet against him. They will often find websites like rip off report and other websites which make a living by helping you slander a person. So after years they have become huge on the internet and if you get a report against you on these websites, you might as well legally change your name.

So I will try to give you hints on how to protect and to react in reputation management.

An internet friend, Jason Dohon, social network marketing expert, reminded me the other day of one of my favorite sayings which is: "The time you need to stop and smell the roses is when you do not even feel you have a moment to take a breath!"

Since his example in his very informative newsletter was taking a bit of time off to re-read the Harry Potter books seires. His point was to create tools which help you do your jobs better, or as the saying goes, work smarter, not harder.

Here is my take on it. I thought you would like to see a much younger George Brown, speaking at a live event, talking about keeping the eye on the prize.

So with this in mind, I have decided to ask all of my internet friends to help me create a list of which tools we use that help us do our tasks smarter than harder.

I use Adobe Premiere for all my video editing. I know it is a bit costly, but I have not found anything else that is a professional package that offers as many features.

Speaking about video edit-I did try Nero editing, but I guess I am use to the full editing feature of Premiere, so this seems to be a bit harder to work with.
